We have a three year rotation on summer camps. Next summer is our council camp, Ben Delatour (BDSR) near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. For camp details, check out the items on the left menu bar of the BDSR Website. Ben Delatour is a premier Scout ranch with troops from all over the country attending.

We have confirmed reservations for summer camp at Ben Delatour Scout Ranch [BDSR] near Red Feather Lakes, CO. Now it is time to get confirmed names and payments.

* CAMP DATES: Sunday, June 10 to Saturday, June 16, 2018
* WHO: Open to ALL Scouts in the troop
* ADULTS: We need adults other than the Scoutmaster staff to help with boards of review and other advancement at camp.
* PROGRAM: Merit badges and high adventure including Climbing, COPE Ropes Course, etc.

• COST (best estimate at this time):
- Scouts: $425.00 [this is an estimate only. It includes camp registration, transportation, merit badge costs.
- Adults: $150.00 [estimate only]

• PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- $50 [Deposit DUE with Signup [Non-refundable]
- $150 [$200 to date] Payment #2 due by January 22
- $225 [$425 to date} Payment #3 due by April 23 [FINAL PAYMENT]

• PAYPAL OPTION: PayPal credit card option is available with a 3% extra charge.

- $154.50 [$200 + $6.00 to date] Payment #2 due by January 22
- $231.75 [$425 + $12.75 to date} Payment #3 due by April 23 [FINAL PAYMENT]

• CAMPERSHIPS: Scouts can apply for financial assistance using the Longs Peak Council (LPC) Campership Application

- Maximum LPC campership amount available per Scout is $182.50
- Deadline to apply to LPC is April 1, 2018
- Additional funds may be available through the troop. Contact Kathy Brown for details.
- Please feel free to donate extra funds to the Troop 171 Scholarship/Campership fund to provide financial assistance to Scouts within the troop. See Kathy Brown for details.

• CANCELLATION POLICY
- $50 Deposit is not refundable [unless we can transfer to a new Scout registration]
- Prior to May 1, full funds less the $50 deposit is refundable.
- After May 1 cancellation or summer camp no show at camp is non-refundable
